...and enjoyed a view on a rooftop lounge with a drink and great company.

On our writing retreat on the island of Amorgos, which is in the Cyclades, we stayed at the beautiful family-run Lakki Village Hotel. There, we wrote, learned, did bellydancing, went to town, swam in the ocean and walked along the beach, visited  an 11th c. monastery, ate delicious meals, talked about writing, learned how to cook Greek food, put on a talent show, and ended our stay with a dance party! Phew!
